Venus Diamond Polar is a non-invasive skin tightening and body contouring treatment using Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF) technology. It stimulates collagen production and improves skin laxity, delivering visible lifting and firming with no downtime.
Best for: Tightening and lifting skin, improving texture, and reducing the appearance of cellulite and body circumference. Suitable for the face, neck, body, and areas of loose skin
Results: Gradual improvement in skin tightness and tone, with optimal results after a series of treatments. Results continue to improve over several weeks as collagen remodels
Downtime: None. It is comfortable with no recovery time, and you can resume normal activities immediately after each session
Venus Viva is a non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment using NanoFractional Radio Frequency and SmartScan technology. It delivers controlled micro-pulses of energy to resurface the skin and improve its texture and tone.
What sets it apart from my other resurfacing treatments is that it is safe for all skin tones, including deeper complexions where CO2 laser carries more risk. If your Fitzpatrick type is IV or V, this is the resurfacing option I reach for. It is also a gentler alternative to CO2 overall, with less downtime.
Best for: Fine lines, uneven texture, and enlarged pores, and for patients with deeper skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV to V) who are not candidates for CO2 laser. Suitable for the face, neck, and décolleté. I do not generally use it for acne scars
Results: Smoother, more refined skin texture with visible improvement after each treatment. A series is recommended for optimal results, with ongoing improvement over three to four weeks per session
Downtime: Minimal. Some redness and sensitivity for 24 to 48 hours, and sun protection is essential during healing
